As the warm summer months quickly approach, la Madeleine Country French Café invites guests to unwind and cool down with its new French-inspired menu offerings and refreshing pomegranate berry iced tea.

Chopped Salmon Niçoise Salade – Inspired by the flavors of southern France, this chopped salade features greens topped with flaky salmon, diced egg, feta, potato, green beans, tomato, and kalamata olives tossed in la Madeleine’s signature Caesar dressing. Served with a sea salt breadstick. $10.49

Grape & Pecan Chicken Salade Croissant – A delightful new twist on our classic and long-time guest favorite Chicken Salade Croissant, this new variation adds grapes and pecans to the recipe featuring balsamic marinated chicken and chopped celery. Served on a fresh-baked, flaky, butter croissant, guests will agree the new grape and pecan chicken salade est trés magnifigue! $7.49

Strawberry Cream Puff – Guests will delight in la Madeleine’s classic French summer dessert. A light, fluffy cream puff filled with fresh diced strawberries, strawberry pastry cream, and strawberry whipped cream, and finished with whipped cream, a strawberry, and doughnut sugar, this dessert is the perfect ending to a la Madeleine lunch. $2.79

Pomegranate Berry Iced Tea – La Madeleine’s Mango Breeze Iced Tea lovers have a new flavor to try this summer, refreshing Pomegranate Berry Iced Tea from Mighty Leaf. Pomegranate Berry is a caffeine-free, antioxidant-rich tea, combining pomegranate and elderberry fruits.

“For our summer menu, we added French classics with a modern twist, such as our chopped salmon Niçoise salad,” says Susan Dederen, senior director of culinary for la Madeleine. “Guests can also delight in the sweetness of summertime with the addition of our new pomegranate berry iced tea and strawberry cream puff.”

La Madeleine’s summer selections will be available June 5 through September 3, 2013.
