La Madeleine Country French Café is launching a new spring menu featuring French Mediterranean cuisine and mini-sandwiches. The menu will be availabel from March 25 through May 30.
"We wanted to give the guests a chance to sample lots of great fresh flavors," says Susan Dederan, senior director of culinary operations at la Madeleine. “Each mini-sandwich has a unique flavor with three different proteins as the start. This addition to our spring menu really gives our guest a chance to feast on the great flavors of southern France.”
The menu will include three Mediterranean Mini-Trio Sandwiches: Balsamic Chicken, with herbed parmesan dressing, field greens, and tomatoes on an Asiago pesto roll; Country Ham, with pineapple, Dijion mustard, mayo, and field greens; and Smoked Turkey, with Mediterranean pesto, provolone cheese, bacon, mayo, fresh leaf lettuce, and tomato. Each sandwich trio is $7.99 and includes one of five side dishes (Caesar salad, cup of soup, fresh fruit, tomato basil pesto pasta salad, or salt and pepper chips).
The menu also features: Mediterranean Pasta, with bowtie pasta, mushrooms, garlic, artichoke hearts, Roma tomatoes, and kalamata olives tossed in pesto ($8.99); and Mediterranean Salad with Chicken, which includes cucumbers, tomatoes, green onions, hard-cooked eggs, artichoke hearts, olives, and feta cheese and chicken, tossed in marjoram-infused vinaigrette ($8.99).
