La Madeleine Joins Share Our Strength's No Kid Hungry

Committed to taking a proactive stance in the fight against childhood hunger, la Madeleine Country French Café is teaming up with Share Our Strength for the month long No Kid Hungry campaign. La Madeleine, which implements a series of year round initiatives to raise funds and awareness about childhood hunger, has a goal of $300,000 for the Share Our Strength No Kid Hungry campaign.

During this September’s fundraising period, la Madeleine is providing monies to the campaign through two donation sources: When guests buy a cookie, la Madeleine will donate a dollar, and when guests donate $5, they receive la Madeleine coupons worth $20. Coupons are for free pastries, salads, soups, and specialty coffees and are valid throughout October and November.

Fighting childhood hunger is a core commitment that la Madeleine has made to the communities it serves and around the world. More than 16 million children in the U.S. struggle with hunger. All la Madeleine cafes with exception of airport locations are participating.
