Two versions of Mahi Mahi burritos and one new salsa are making their debut at La Salsa Fresh Mexican Grill, announced Kevin Osborn, president of the 94-unit restaurant company. The new Mahi Mahi burritos feature a Baja and Sonora style of preparation and the latest salsa uses mango as the primary ingredient. All new menu items were successfully test marketed prior to their official introduction and are expected to continue in La Salsa’s tradition of offering only the freshest, healthiest and best tasting Mexican food available.

“From the enthusiastic reception these three new items already have received at select locations, we anticipate that the new Mahi Mahi burritos and mango salsa will become instant favorites with guests at all of our locations,” said Osborn. “The new items will, no doubt, prove themselves excellent additions to La Salsa’s already popular and successful menu.”

The new Baja-style Mahi Mahi burrito is stuffed with freshly grilled Mahi Mahi, creamy Baja sauce, jack and cheddar cheeses, cabbage and avocado wrapped in a flour tortilla. The Sonora version also features freshly grilled Mahi Mahi, yet its spicy Sonora sauce lends a zestier flavor and is stuffed with jack and cheddar cheeses, tomatoes and lettuce wrapped in a flour tortilla. La Salsa’s new mango salsa falls in the medium-spicy range and consists of diced fresh mangoes, red bell peppers, onions and jalapenos.
