Crystal Duncan, formerly Director of National Distribution Sales at Georgia Pacific and Sharon Cox formerly AVP of Carolina Health System have established Cox Duncan Network LLC (CDN), a consulting-execution firm based in Charlotte which provides for foodservice leaders and their distributors, a 360-degree perspective by leveraging our unique expertise in Food safety, Food management and Health & nutrition. We provide one-source for digital technology to train and retain staff, the Transition learning model to drive change and improve departmental outcomes, and food safety protocol to mitigate risks and meet HACCP and FSMA regulatory requirements.
Duncan has 30-plus years in the foodservice industry including 11 years in various positions at GA Pacific. Prior to joining GP, Duncan led sales teams at US Foods as well as led multiple contract health system accounts at Sodexo in the NE.
A leader in the industry, Duncan has served for 17 years in an advisory capacity for the 3000-member Women’s Foodservice Forum (WFF) and is a member of Association for Healthcare Foodservice (AHF) where she led the organization in the capacity of chair in 2014-2015. Duncan is a former board member of the Multicultural Foodservice & Hospitality Alliance (MFHA )2006-2010 and currently serves on the Diversity Inclusion advisory board for WFF.
A native of New Orleans, she graduated from Louisiana State University and University of Phoenix with degrees; BS in Dietetics, minor in Food Science and MBA with a focus on management. Crystal is certified food safety practitioner and dietitian.
Cox has 30-plus years in the foodservice industry including 5 years at Carolinas Healthcare Systems. Prior to joining CHS, she led the food and nutrition divisions at Memorial Hermann Healthcare System TMC in Houston and Director, Food and Nutrition, Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center in New York.
A leader in the industry, Cox has served as President, Health Foodservice Management Association in 2005-2006 and Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics in the House of Delegates, Nominating Committee, and Quality Management in 2007-2013. Sharon received an honorary doctorate of foodservice from the North American Association of Food Equipment Manufacturer’s (NAFEM)2007.
