With 87 schools participating throughout New Jersey, New York, Massachusetts, and Florida, the Let’s YO! Yogurt fall fundraising campaign turned out to be a success for the company.
From September 9 through October 21, Let’s YO! customers nationwide enrolled in the “YO! School Rocks” campaign to help their desired school win cash prizes to go toward new computers, classroom supplies, student activities, and more. Each time they made a purchase at Let’s YO!, the company matched their YO! points with the school of their choosing. The three schools that racked up the most points were recently presented with cash prizes earlier this month.
“We created the YO! School Rocks campaign as a fun, easy way for us to give back to our local communities with the help of our customers,” says Eric Casaburi, CEO and founder of Let’s YO!. “It was truly an awe-inspiring feeling to hear stories from our franchise owners about families and groups of students coming in to support their local schools.”
Midland Elementary School in Paramus, New Jersey, earned the most YO! points and was presented a check for $2,500 by Let’s YO! director of operations ,Eric Zeises, during a school assembly on November 6. The students were also treated to free frozen yogurt by local franchise owner Russell Rothstein.
Franklin High School in Somerset, New Jersey, took home second place and was presented with a $1,000 check on November 11 at the Let’s YO! Somerset location.
