LevelUp, a leading provider of mobile engagement solutions for the restaurant industry, announced that it has appointed Theresa Dold as Vice President of Agency Strategy. In her newly created role, Dold will further develop LevelUp Agency’s solutions and drive adoption of the platform, features, tools and integrations among current and future restaurant partners.

Dold joins LevelUp from sweetgreen, a leading healthy fast-casual brand that operates more than 60 locations across the country, where she served as director of product. While at sweetgreen, Dold owned the company’s product roadmap and consumer-facing tech initiatives while helping to build an in-house engineering and product team from the ground up. She also launched the sweetgreen rewards app in early 2013, which continues to leverage the LevelUp platform to achieve great levels of adoption and success among customers.

“Theresa’s extensive background implementing marketing and product strategies in the restaurant industry makes her a phenomenal addition to the LevelUp team,” says Harald Prokop, LevelUp’s chief technology officer. “As the number of consumers using technology to interact with their favorite restaurants increases, Theresa’s expertise will be key in advancing our product development to deliver an unparalleled experience to our partners and their customers.”

LevelUp Agency, the company’s custom development shop, works with leading restaurants to build fully customized mobile apps that feature seamless in-store and order-ahead functionalities as well as loyalty programs and a powerful CRM delivering targeted promotions to users. Since launching LevelUp Agency in 2013, the team has developed apps for sweetgreen, Tropical Smoothie Café, Potbelly Sandwich Shop and nearly 200 other brands across the nation.

“I am passionate about the restaurant industry and building robust customer engagement strategies so I am thrilled to be joining LevelUp at such an exciting time,” says Dold. “I have been very impressed by LevelUp’s technology platform and the Agency team in particular, and I look forward to continue developing best-in-class solutions for our clients and partners.”
