Lion’s Choice, the St. Louis-based family of restaurants known for their famous roast beef sandwiches, will add new limited-time menu items, available now through September at all locations. The menu items include the new Strawberry Harvest Turkey Salad as well as mix-ins of popular candies to their frozen custard.
The iconic St. Louis brand has been famous for their ridiculously good roast beef sandwiches since 1967. The slow-roasted, 100 percent lean real beef is cooked fresh every day, made to order, and sliced thin with a dash of seasoning on a buttered and toasted bun. However, Lion’s Choice also offers a variety of different sandwiches, salads and sides as well as desserts.
“As the weather warms up, our guests start to think about lighter items as well as frozen custard season. From our 25-cent vanilla mini cone to the Orange Freeze, everyone has their favorite frozen treat. Now, guests can mix-in some of their favorite candies to our famous frozen custard,” says Michael Kupstas, president and CEO of Lion’s Choice. “On the flip side, the new salad has all the flavors of spring.”
The Strawberry Harvest Turkey Salad ($7.69) is made with spinach, cut strawberries, Lion’s Choice oven roasted turkey, blue cheese crumbles, cranberries, walnuts and is served with a balsamic vinaigrette. The Lion’s Choice famous Frozen Custard is available in three flavors this summer including: Oreo, M&M’s, and Heath, the newest addition. An original-sized custard is $2.79 and a large is $3.89.
All new menu items are available now through September 1.
