    Liquid Nutrition Coming to U.S., to Open in Miami

    Liquid Nutrition Group Inc., retailer of functional beverages, fresh pressed juices, smoothies, vitamins, and supplements, announced that it will open its first U.S. store at 1616 Washington Avenue in Miami Beach, Florida. The South Beach location, which is scheduled to open in third quarter of this year, will serve as Liquid Nutrition's first market development in the U.S. unit with additional outlets opening in in New York and Beverly Hills, California, as part of a 70-unit sales target in 2013.

    Managed by 420 Lincoln Road Associates Ltd., Liquid Nutrition's new retail space consists of a ground floor and mezzanine level. Liquid Nutrition has plans to make significant improvements to the location, but will maintain the existing storefront of the historic Art Deco landmark. In addition to acting as a retail location, 1616 Washington Avenue will also serve as a regional support center to help grow Liquid Nutrition in the U.S.

"The close proximity to the beach and its position in a high foot traffic area, only half a block from Miami's legendary Lincoln Road, makes this the perfect location to establish the brand in the country and support our franchise sales efforts."

To help meet this goal at its Miami location, Liquid Nutrition plans to hire five full-time and five part-time partners, who will be trained on healthy lifestyle principles, sharing this knowledge with consumers and empowering them to make positive choices.

    The company has experienced rapid growth and tremendous success in Canada due to the foundation it provides all franchisees, supplying comprehensive research and development, marketing, branding, sourcing, and training support.
