Little Greek restaurant, a favorite in Richardson, Texas, with Greek dishes created from traditional Greek recipes, will open its second Texas location in Willow Bend. The new unit will open in September 2012.

This opening will bring Little Greek to 10 locations—two in Texas and eight in the Tampa, Florida, area.

Jan and Barry Rosen opened the Richardson location in September 2010 and two years later, they plan to do it again with Willow Bend.

The Rosens say they are having great success with the Richardson location, and they hope to bring the same opportunities to the Willow Bend area by providing jobs for the community and creating a unique place for lunch or dinner.

“Willow Bend is an ideal location for the 10th Little Greek, and the community has a lot to look forward to,” says Nick Vojnovic, president, Little Greek Franchising Development. “Richardson is experiencing record-breaking sales, and I am very pleased with the strong sales growth of all the Little Greek locations. System average is up 20 percent, with the Richardson location leading the way with a 60 percent increase in sales over the previous year.”

Vojnovic says Little Greek is projecting 12 locations by end of the year. Eight new locations are currently projected during 2013.
