Little Greek Fresh Grill, a fast-casual Greek restaurant with an American influence, has grown its Central Florida footprint to 12 locations and has created an estimated 320 jobs, according to Nick Vojnovic, president of Tampa-based Little Greek.

“We opened our first Central Florida location in 2015,” says Vojnovic. “We now have 12 locations throughout the market.”

Little Greek’s strategy has always been to open locations near retail hubs. This has also been the case in the Orlando market.

“The Orlando market annual average unit volume is approaching 1.1 million,” says Jeff Rosenberg, Little Greek Fresh Grill area developer for Central Florida. “We have strong franchise operators, some of whom have multiple locations.”

Rosenberg adds that Little Greek is on its way to a total of 15 to 20 locations in the Orlando market. The growth and success in this market has exceeded company expectations.

Little Greek has built a reputation for exceptional food quality and emphasizes fresh, healthy Greek dishes created from generations of traditional family recipes, including Greek salads topped with grilled chicken and traditional Gyro pitas. All Orlando area locations offer dine-in, take-out and catering. Many locations offer curbside service.

“The Greek/Mediterranean restaurant segment continues to explode,” Vojnovic adds. “People in the Orlando area are seeking a healthy dining alternative at an affordable price, and Little Greek fills that void.”

Little Greek Fresh Grill currently has 45 locations in Arkansas, Florida, Kentucky, Ohio and Texas.
