Little Greek, a Tampa, Florida-based fast-casual Greek multi-unit restaurant company with an American influence, has opened at Waterford Lakes Town Center.

“We are excited to be open in the Orlando area,” says Nick Vojnovic, Little Greek president. “Waterford Lakes is the perfect location for our introduction to the Orlando market.”

This is Little Greek’s first location in Orlando, with a planned build out of 16 to 20 restaurants.

The owner/operators of the Waterford Lakes location are Mike Carlson and Jeff and Lane Rosenberg. Carlson and Jeff Rosenberg, previous multi-unit owners in the Sport Clips Haircuts franchise, will serve as area developers for Little Greek in Central Florida.

“We are excited about bringing the fresh homemade food from Little Greek to Orlando,” Jeff Rosenberg says. “There’s nothing like it in the area.”

Little Greek emphasizes fresh Greek dishes created from generations of traditional family recipes, with its grilled chicken items and healthy salads among the most popular. Most locations are open daily from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. and offer dine-in, take-out, and catering.

In addition to Waterford Lakes, Little Greek currently has 14 locations in the Tampa Bay area with 20 total locations in Arkansas, Florida, and Texas.  Little Greek is celebrating its 11th year of operation.

"The Greek/Mediterranean segment is exploding in the United States,” Vojnovic adds.  “Americans are discovering this healthy, delicious cuisine.”
