Duke Marketing LLC, a full-service marketing communications firm specializing in multi-location and franchise companies, celebrating 25 years in business, announced Long John Silver’s, the nation’s largest quick-service seafood chain, has selected Duke Marketing as their LSM Agency of Record. Duke Marketing was chosen for their expertise increasing sales and traffic with local store marketing strategies for multiunit franchisees.

More than 40 years ago, Long John Silver’s opened the first location in Lexington, Kentucky. The next several decades saw Long John Silver’s expand across the country. With their iconic steeple-roofed Cape Cod restaurants and one-of-a-kind menu, Long John Silver’s introduced more and more guests to great-tasting fish, chicken, and shrimp to become America’s favorite seafood brand with more than 1,100 locations.

Margo Mize, senior vice president of marketing, says, “It’s a new day here at Long John Silver’s. We are enhancing more than our great-tasting and sustainably harvested seafood. We are reconnecting with guests in our local communities by retaining Duke Marketing, and bringing a renewed energy to better restaurant and guest experiences, fun and innovative new meal options, and, of course, great value.”

“I have been a Long John Silver’s guest and fan since I was a kid and wanted to be a Pirate,” says Linda Duke, chief executive of Duke Marketing. “Duke Marketing was hooked to be part of the new Long John Silver’s crew and lead their franchise organization into new waters. We are looking forward to working with this great, iconic brand.”
