Luna Grill is kicking off 2021 with a focus on health, value and an active lifestyle with the launch of its new “Modern Greek Chicken Wrap” at all locations throughout California and Texas. The new wrap takes the restaurant’s most popular salad and wraps it up to go, packed with 30g of protein and perfect for diners on the move.
“Throughout 2020 our guests have consistently leaned into their tried and true favorites on our menu, choosing familiar flavors for guaranteed moments of joy,” says Luna Grill Director of Marketing Morgan Rogers. “The timing was perfect to build upon that momentum by taking our most popular salad—The Modern Greek—and wrapping it up in a pillowy lavash bread, perfect for continued off-premise dining into the new year,” she added.
Priced at just $8.95, the Modern Greek Chicken Wrap features grilled chicken, tomato, cucumber, pickled onions, olives, feta cheese, sliced pepperoncini, house vinaigrette and a crunchy cabbage and kale mix (an alternative to the traditional lettuce mix to boost stability), wrapped in a new multigrain lavash. Guests can make the wrap vegetarian by substituting falafel for chicken.
Further focusing on value-conscious choices, guests can purchase a second wrap for $7, creating a two-entree meal option for only $15.95. “The Modern Greek Chicken Wrap is a perfect representation of the Mediterranean Diet—fresh, nutrient-dense ingredients wrapped up in a way that encourages an active and on-the-go lifestyle,” adds Rogers.
Luna Grill is a pioneer in the fast-casual segment, providing fresh Mediterranean food such as signature kabob plates, gourmet salads, bowls, appetizers including hummus and falafel, wraps, desserts, craft beer and wine in a contemporary setting. The concept has now grown to 52 locations in Southern California and the Dallas Fort Worth area.
