May is National Mediterranean Diet Month and as part of its ongoing commitment to help guests “Eat Real, Fuel Good” by following this eating style, Luna Grill is rolling out its new Modern Greek Salad at all 50 locations in California and Texas today.

Priced at $9.50, the Modern Greek Salad features a lettuce medley, feta cheese, Greek olives, sliced pepperoncini, tomato, cucumber, house pickled red onions, crunchy chickpeas and house vinaigrette. Diners can add an add-on portion of ‘Grilled n’ Chilled’ chopped chicken for $2.50.

The new Modern Greek Salad will also be available as a stand-alone side dish for $4 or as an upgrade option on any Luna Grill Signature Plate.

“The traditional Greek salad is a Mediterranean staple, and we wanted to give our guests a fresh take on this classic with trending ingredients such as crispy chickpeas and pickled onions,” says Maria Pourteymour, Luna Grill chief cuisine officer and co-founder.

Luna Grill offers Mediterranean cuisine such as signature kabob plates, gourmet salads, appetizers including hummus and falafel, wraps, desserts, craft beer and wine in a contemporary setting. The concept has now grown to 50 locations in Southern California, Inland Empire and the Dallas Fort Worth area.
