Luna Grill debuts the Warrior Wrap, a new limited-time-offering for National Military Appreciation Month. Available now at all 43 Luna Grill restaurants, the Warrior Wrap is made with gyros, simply seasoned fries, spicy yogurt sauce, feta, tomato and lettuce on a choice of multigrain lavash or pita.  It retails for $8.75.  In honor of National Military Appreciation Month, $1 from each Warrior Wrap sold during the month of May in San Diego will benefit Warrior Foundation Freedom Station, an organization that supports warriors in a variety of ways, providing quality-of-life items, support services and transitional housing designed to assist them and their families during recovery. Outside of San Diego, $1 from each Warrior Wrap sold during the month of May will benefit Hope for the Warriors, which provides comprehensive support programs for service members, veterans, and military families that are focused on transition, health and wellness, peer engagement, and connections to community resources.

“Giving back to the community is a huge part of who we are as a Luna Grill family,” says co-founder and chief executive officer Sean Pourteymour. “For National Military Appreciation Month, we wanted to do something special to show our gratitude, so we came up with the Warrior Wrap.   It’s important to us that $1 from every wrap sold in May will benefit organizations that provide vital services to warriors and their families.”

Co-founder and chief cuisine officer Maria Pourteymour is behind all of Luna Grill’s recipes, from the classics to the new, limited-time-offerings. “Wraps are a great option for families on the go, so I knew I wanted to introduce a delicious new wrap for spring,” says Maria Pourteymour. “The Warrior Wrap is packed with protein and fresh Mediterranean flavor, and the best part is that a portion of proceeds supports Warrior Foundation Freedom Station and Hope for the Warriors.  Luna Grill fans can feel good ordering this new menu item and, with all of the fresh delicious ingredients packed inside, we know they will feel good eating it, too.”

The Warrior Wrap joins an already stellar lineup of wholesome Mediterranean fare at Luna Grill, including signature kabob plates, gourmet salads, fresh appetizers, including hummus and falafel, wraps and desserts. All foods, marinades and sauces are crafted with care daily.  Meals are made fresh to order and served to the table with genuine cutlery and tableware. A cross between a fast casual and full-service sit-down restaurant, Luna Grill combines the best of both worlds as it continues to be a pioneer in the “Luxe Casual” category.  Luna Grill now has 43 locations in Southern California and the Dallas-Fort Worth Area.
