Following a corporate headquarters move to New Orleans and new store opening in Metairie, Main Squeeze Juice Co., a newcomer to the more than $5 billion juice market, is continuing its Louisiana takeover with the opening of a store in Baton Rouge.

Located at 411 Benhur Road, the store is slated to open on November 14 and is owned and operated by Will Nordstrom and Chris Firmin.

“The health market and clean eating trend has been growing—it’s no longer a trend, it’s a way of life that many are choosing to adopt,” says Nordstrom. “Main Squeeze may be the newest player in the juice market, but it is unlike the others. The juice and smoothies not only make healthy easier, but they make it taste better too. You want to go on a juice cleanse with Main Squeeze. We are excited to provide the nutritious and delicious smoothies and juices we have grown to love to our community in Baton Rouge.”

Prior to franchising with Main Squeeze Juice Co., both Nordstrom and Firmin worked in sales for an equipment rental company. The friends wanted to pursue new opportunities and Main Squeeze Juice Co. kept crossing their paths.

“Main Squeeze is an attractive product—it’s fresh, it’s visually appealing and it’s delicious. The process and the people that make up Main Squeeze are inherently unique and special,” added Firmin. “We are confident people in Baton Rouge will love Main Squeeze just as much as we do.”

Main Squeeze’s mission is to make healthy easier, and the company’s nutritionist-designed, superfood-centric menu does exactly that by offering a daily source of plant-based nutrition packed with natural and quick energy. The concept’s proprietary recipes feature chef-inspired cold-pressed juices and superfood smoothies, along with one-, two- and three-day juice cleanse programs, wellness shots, and acai bowls created from organic and wild-harvested acai berries from the Amazon rainforest in Northeast Brazil.

“Health begins and ends with how you choose to fuel your body,” says Thomas Nieto, CEO of Main Squeeze. “We strongly believe in crafting a menu with something for everyone, and we pride ourselves in knowing that every menu item is specifically chosen to help fuel and build a healthier lifestyle.”

With three locations now open and operating, Main Squeeze Juice Co. plans to open several more stores throughout the next year. According to Nieto, the brand currently has nearly 40 additional franchisee- and corporate-owned locations in various stages of development, and is poised to become a household brand within the next few years.
