Maitre’D Introduces CompNet Compensation Program

    Industry News | May 8, 2012

Maitre’D by Posera will be exhibiting at the NRA Show in Chicago, May 5-8, 2012, showing off a host of new solutions, including the latest release of Maitre’D POS and restaurant management solutions, CVM Kitchen Display system and Online Reservations Solution powered by Bookenda.

In addition, Maitre’D has recently aligned with CompNet, underwritten by Guard Insurance, to be able to offer a special program that would help restaurateurs save hundreds to thousands of dollars on their workers’ compensation premiums every year.

The Maitre’D CompNet program offers competitive rates across the U.S., with savings of up to 20 percent, which can represent thousands of dollars.

Moreover, the Maitre'D/Compnet program is the first in the industry to offer a pay-as-you-go payment option, with no money down, which allows restaurant operators to better manage cash flow. CompNet’s online quoting system provides an accurate, online quote in fewer than 5 minutes, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

“When we started discussions with CompNet, we quickly realized that there was an opportunity to offer a program that was truly unique and highly advantageous for the hospitality industry,” says Michel Côté, president at Posera. “As we continuously seek for ways to help our customers put more money in their pockets, we decided to take the partnership a step further and come up with a joint program that will really benefit our customers and help them save a significant amount of money.”

The new partnership with CompNet/Guard Insurance started with the idea of developing an interface that would allow restaurateurs to use the labor information that already resides in the Maitre’D system, and send that directly to the insurance company to automate the calculation and monthly payments of Workers’ Compensation. In addition, this eliminates the fees that payroll processors usually charge.
