Mama Fu’s Asian House, an Austin, Texas-based, privately held, fast-casual restaurant specializing in Asian comfort food, is releasing its very first television commercial this month. The commercials began airing on October 16 and will run for six weeks during primetime on channels like AMC, BRAVO, the Food Network and TLC.

“Through these television commercials, we’re reacquainting Austin moms with our brand,” says Josh Churnick, director of marketing for Mama Fu’s. “Moms have a really tough job and making everyone happy with dinner can be a challenge. We’re reminding them that our dishes are made with fresh ingredients, there’s something everyone loves on our menu and we make it easy to order.”

The commercials, shot as 15- and 30-second spots, highlight the delivery side of Mama Fu’s which comprises a large percentage of their business. Local talent was used in the spots and local UPG Video was used for shooting and editing.

“The Mama Fu’s team had great vision and we helped deliver their message through thoughtfully crafted video,” says Ben Cecil, Executive Producer of UPG Video. “We always put our clients at the center of the process and the result is superior. We’re extremely proud of these spots for Mama Fu’s.”
