MGH, a full-service marketing communications agency, announced that it has been selected by Mason’s Famous Lobster Rolls, a fast-casual restaurant chain specializing in wild-caught, sustainable Maine lobster rolls, to lead the company’s marketing efforts. The agency will handle research, brand positioning, creative services and social media marketing.

Since opening its first store in Annapolis, Md., in 2014, Mason’s has offered a variety of takes on the traditional lobster roll often found on the shores of New England. In four years, the chain has grown to seven locations—four in Maryland, and one in Delaware, Virginia and South Carolina. The company has plans to continue expansion in the coming years.

“If a brand focused on lobster has found its footing in a region where crabs reign supreme, you know they must be doing something right,” says Andy Malis, chief executive officer of MGH. “We couldn’t be more excited to partner with this brand as it expands even more than it already has in such a short amount of time. Maryland, and beyond, get ready to eat some lobster.”

Based in Baltimore, MGH is an integrated marketing and communications agency offering advertising, public relations, media planning/buying, creative design and production, interactive (design, strategy, development and marketing), market research, direct response, relationship marketing and social media marketing.

MGH maintains a diverse client base spanning multiple industries. Current clients include Hendrick Automotive Group, Books-A-Million, Paul Fredrick, Round Table Pizza, Great American Cookies, Hot Dog on a Stick, Marble Slab Creamery, Pretzelmaker, Ocean City, Md., Department of Tourism, Nobel Learning Communities, Inc., Mannington and Simply 7 Snacks.
