Maui Wowi has made its way to Cary, North Carolina, a thriving community just outside Raleigh. A new store and drive thru is now open, serving Maui Wowi Hawaiian’s fruit smoothies and gourmet coffees. Franchisee Zach Dunbar, owner of the new location, relocated to Cary after retiring from a 24-year career in law enforcement at the New York State Police Department.

As a military veteran, Dunbar has been looking forward to continuing to serve his community through the new business and introducing residents to the fun, laidback atmosphere and quality products of Maui Wowi.

“Veterans have the innate characteristics of leadership and dedication that create successful business owners,” says Justin Livingston, vice president of business development at Maui Wowi. “The expansion of the Maui Wowi brand is made possible in part by the quality of franchisees we welcome into our system, and Zach is definitely one of them.”

Since joining the franchise and relocating to Cary, Dunbar has been actively promoting and working events with the mobile Maui Wowi event cart. As construction took place on the retail location, he was able to spread the word about the brand and the brand to the community. Now, with a more permanent piece of paradise blending and brewing, customers can enjoy their favorite island beverage any day of the week.

The new Maui Wowi location is situated in the shopping center at 919 N. Harrison Ave in Cary, North Carolina. Anchored by a Wal-Mart Market, a scaled down version of the super store, as well as a health-and-fitness store and gym, the shopping center is an ideal space for the new Maui Wowi shop. Adding to its convenience, the store features a drive-thru window.
