Maui Wowi Hawaiian Coffees and Smoothies announced its first-ever Barista Jam, which is part educational coffee series, part all-out coffee party. The first stop for the Jam is set to take place April 6–8 at 14200 Ranch Road 12 in Wimberley, Texas.
Wimberley is a small village outside of Austin and is the first stop in the jamming tour that features Maui Wowi Hawaiian’s own master coffee roaster, Tommy Thwaites of Coda Coffee. Each Barista Jam will feature several tastings for the public to come in, see, smell, and taste the difference that is Maui Wowi Hawaiian coffee.
“If you have not tried our coffee, this is the time to find out what really great coffee tastes like,” says DuAnne Redus, owner/operator of the Maui Wowi Hawaiian in Wimberley. “Our town is known as a hamlet for artists, musicians, and our creative spirit. We relish the fact that we are blessed to live in such a vibrant community of people that stand behind each other and their local businesses. The Barista Jam Tour stop will serve to solidify Maui Wowi’s commitment to Wimberley and great coffee.”
