McAlister’s Deli announced the launch of its “Why My Fav” campaign, which asks loyal McAlister’s Deli customers to share a personal story about their favorite menu item. Eight guests receiving the most votes on their “Fav” entries will receive a free lunch once a week, every week, for a year.
The campaign encourages McAlister’s loyal guests to share real, unscripted experiences about their favorite McAlister’s Deli menu items by calling toll-free at 1-855-WHY MY FAV and recording a message. Once recorded, guests will visit www.whymyfav.com to confirm and register for their chance to win.
Messages will then be uploaded to the website, and guests can invite family and friends to vote for their recording. Voting will end on June 30, 2012, and eight finalists will be selected based on originality, creativity, and sentimentality.
“At McAlister’s Deli, we wanted to call upon those who know us best, our loyal guests, to not only share with us their favorite menu item, but what makes their McAlister’s experience so great,” says McAlister’s Deli President and CEO Frank Paci. “We believe these testimonials will bring to life the warmth and vitality of the brand and genuinely demonstrate how McAlister’s goes the extra mile to provide every guest with the highest-quality food experience.”
The “Why My Fav” campaign will be extended through online activities, including Facebook, email messages, and Twitter, as well as through in-store support. During the promotion, an entry will be drawn randomly each week and will receive a $25 McAlister’s gift card.
The final eight winners will be invited to record their messages in a professional studio for use in McAlister’s radio advertising and related marketing initiatives.
“This is a first for us, and we’re very excited to not only gain insight from some of our most loyal guests, but to incorporate their real-life stories into our marketing efforts,” Paci says.
