McAlister’s Deli has declared 2018 “The Year of Flavor” and is turning up the heat testing two spicy menu items: Strawberry Habanero Lemonade and Jalapeno Turkey Crunch sandwich.
Guests at McAlister’s in Texas and Louisiana will get the first chance to chance to try the menu items and influence what lands on the 2018 menu during the market test from August 21 to October 1.
The Jalapeno Turkey Crunch takes deli staples (sliced turkey, bacon and mayo) and adds avocado and packs the heat with Pepper Jack Cheese, jalapeno kettle chips and a jalapeno roll for a spicy, fresh sandwich with crunch.
The Strawberry Habanero Lemonade is made with McAlister’s signature pure cane sugar lemonade infused with natural strawberry puree and habanero flavors, which add some heat to the sweet! Lemonade concentrate
