McAlister's Debuts New Entree With #HotBrownThrowDown

McAlister's Del, announced the launch of its new Big Bold Entrée, the Turkey Hot Brown, which will be available in restaurants nationwide.

The Turkey Hot Brown features Butterball smoked turkey, crisp applewood smoked bacon, freshly sliced tomatoes, and green onions, served with creamy Kentucky Hot Brown Gravy on toasted country white bread.

“We’re excited to announce our new Kentucky-inspired entrée, The Turkey Hot Brown, as we continue to expand our dinner options with hearty, full-flavored entrees,” says McAlister’s vice president of global marketing Donna Josephson. “We are happy to bring this regional favorite to our guests and have created a satisfying sandwich that appeals to dinner crowds looking for delicious hearty meals.”

Now through June 10, fans can enter the “Hot Brown Throw Down” sweepstakes online for a chance to win a weekend trip for two to the Brown Hotel in Louisville, Kentucky — birthplace of the Hot Brown. Fans who enter to win will receive a unique link to invite their friends and earn additional entries. Additionally, McAlister’s is challenging fans to the “One-Napkin Challenge” where guests are encouraged to post a photo triumphantly finishing the gravy-smothered Turkey Hot Brown using only a single napkin. Fans can submit photos on Twitter and Instagram using hashtag #HotBrownThrowDown.
