McAlister’s Deli announced today its first location in Columbus, Ohio, will open with franchisee Columbus Mc Deli, on June 16. To celebrate, the restaurant will make $500 donations to both the Ohio Wildlife Center and local Humane Society.

“We’re excited about bringing the first McAlister’s Deli restaurant to Columbus. The response from the community has been phenomenal,” says Purvi Desai, owner of Columbus Mc Deli. “As we open this location, and expand into additional communities throughout the Columbus market, we hope to establish ourselves as a community fixture as guests enjoy our wide variety of sandwiches, giant spuds, soups and salads, and McAlister’s famous sweet tea.”

McAlister’s Deli in Columbus is located at 7664 Sawmill Road, and will serve guests from Sunday – Thursday, from 10:30 a.m. to 9:30 p.m. and Friday and Saturday, 10:30 a.m. to 10 p.m.
