McAlister’s Deli, a leading fast-casual restaurant, announced it has been ranked among the top performing fast-casual chains in a new consumer survey presented by Technomic at its Fast Casual 2012 Trends & Directions Conference.

McAlister’s Deli took the top spot in five categories, including food, beverages, value, service, and atmosphere.

More than 90 percent of respondents gave the 310-unit chain a performance rating of “good” or “very good” in food, beverages, and service, while 89.3 percent and 88 percent gave McAlister’s a top rating for value and atmosphere, respectively.

The brand ranked second for cleanliness, with 93.5 percent of consumers rating McAlister’s Deli “good” or “very good,” and fifth for takeout (91.3 percent).

The results highlighted are from Technomic’s Consumer Restaurant Brand Metrics tracking program, compiled using a national sample of consumers from more than 30,000 restaurant visits during the first quarter of 2011 through the first quarter of 2012.

Guests rated brands they have visited on 50 attributes.
