Meatheads, a fast-casual restaurant that provides a full-service dining experience serving high-quality, fresh, never-frozen ingredients, has hired Jason Harbison as director of operations.

Harbison, 40, has more than 25 years experience in operations in the fast-casual industry. He was most recently senior director of operations at Applebee's.

Prior to that, he spent more than a decade as director of operations at the Wisconsin Hospitality Group and a decade as director of operations at Pizza Hut.

This is a newly created position. Harbison will be based out of the Meatheads downtown Chicago office, but will spend the majority of his time traveling to all of the 11 Meatheads locations in Illinois.

He will be tasked with ensuring all operational items are systematic company-wide.

“Jason is the perfect cultural fit,” says Tom Jednorowicz, CEO and founder of Meatheads. “His people skills, technical expertise, and operational discipline and attention to detail will help Meatheads continue to expand while maintaining consistently high standards.”
