Menchie’s, the international frozen yogurt franchise, announced the opening of its new location in Camp Creek Marketplace, at 3630 Marketplace Boulevard, Suite 830 in East Point, Georgia on Thursday, October 17, 2013.
To celebrate the opening, Menchie’s will hold a seven-day grand opening celebration from October 19 to October 25, featuring free giveaways that include t-shirts and Menchie’s merchandise, family-friendly activities, and free servings of its frozen yogurt.
“From the first day my kids took me to a Menchie’s, I have been intrigued to only get more involved with the brand,” says franchisee, Corey Bierria. “I am pleased to be able to provide East Point residents with the first frozen yogurt space in the city and look forward to spreading Menchies’ smiley message throughout the area.”
The new self-serve store offers an experience that is interactive, with arts and crafts for kids, music, and both indoor and outdoor seating areas. Guests can choose from a variety of rotating yogurt flavors made from the milk of California cows and various toppings. Menchie’s frozen yogurt contains live and active cultures and has received the Live and Active Culture (LAC) seal indicating its endorsement by the National Yogurt Association.
Menchie’s stores also partner with local schools in fundraising activities and education incentive programs.
