Mici Handcrafted Italian, a family-owned four-unit fast casual chain based out of Denver, Colorado, announced the long-awaited addition of three new family-recipe menu items for 2018.

The Miceli family, along with new partner and CEO Elliot Schiffer, currently operate the successful line of family friendly, affordable Italian eateries that focus on authentic Italian recipes using natural, unprocessed, clean ingredients.

In keeping with that philosophy, Mici is excited for their loyal following to try the new menu items:

Verdi Salad: the new salad has a Mediterranean flavor, featuring garbanzo beans, bowtie pasta, artichokes, green olives, roasted red peppers, red onion, mixed greens, and family-recipe Italian dressing, and is available for $9.25.

Polpettina Antipasti: this savory appetizer features two of Mici’s popular hand-rolled meatballs topped with matriarch Rosalie’s marinara, and garlic bread for $7.95.

Pietro Pizza: Named to honor a family member and featuring Mici’s signature sausage, this specialty pizza is topped with tangy pepperoncini, onion, and mozzarella, available for $9.75 (10″), $20.75 (16″), and $11.75 (Calzone).

Adding menu items is not something Mici Handcrafted Italian does lightly—in the five months since taking the helm, Elliot Schiffer has worked with COO Jeff Miceli to mine their cache of family recipes to find the perfect additions. Ensuring ease of production and maintaining Mici’s stellar fast service was a priority.
