Miguel’s Jr., Southern California’s destination for homestyle Mexican cuisine since 1973, is ringing in the New Year by offering guests value and comfort with the return of a seasonal favorite and a mouthwatering lineup of new limited-time menu values. Don’t miss the highly anticipated return of Founder and Chief Recipe Officer Mary Vasquez’s flavorful housemade Pozole and a selection of craveable “Double Up” deals on Tacos, Taquitos, and Burritos available for dine-in, takeout, drive-thru and online ordering for a limited time beginning Wednesday, January 3 through Tuesday, February 27 at all Miguel’s Jr. locations.

“Our Pozole is full of flavor and spice, just like my mother used to make when I was a child growing up in Central Mexico,” says Co-Founder and Chief Recipe Officer Mary Vasquez. “It warms the soul and is the perfect comfort food to enjoy all winter long – it’s no wonder why our guests have been asking about the return of our Pozole since the temperatures started dropping. We’re delighted to satisfy our guests’ cravings with this traditional dish to start the New Year along with a series of special deals to ‘double up’ on favorite Miguel’s Jr. menu items at a great price.”

Mary’s Pozole will be available as a 16 oz. bowl for $4.99 and by the quart for $9.39 beginning January 3, for a limited time. Featuring a slow-simmered, chile-based broth, this traditional Mexican soup is generously filled with tender hominy and a choice of Miguel’s Jr.’s authentically seasoned shredded chicken or slow-roasted chile verde pork. The flavorful and hearty pozole is served with a side of lemons, cabbage and onions for guests to customize to their preference.

Miguel’s Jr.’s new “Double Up” deals serve up a changing rotation of two Traditional or Soft Tacos for $5.69, two orders of Taquitos for $10.00, two Bean, Rice & Cheese Burritos for $6.59 or two Original Burritos for $10.00. Fans know to order from the “secret menu” and kick the flavor up a notch by asking for their Miguel’s Jr. burritos to be prepared with their famous, freshly made hot sauce layered inside the burrito. Follow @MiguelsJr for more information and to stay updated on the “Double Up” deal schedule.

Miguel’s Jr.’s entire flavor-packed menu is available for dine-in, take-out, drive-thru and online ordering daily from open to close.
