Miller’s Roast Beef in East Providence, Rhode Island, won Jeffrey Butland Family Owned Small Business of the Year from the Rhode Island Small Business Administration (SBA). This small business with a tremendous following has become a pillar in the East Providence community.

Miller’s Roast Beef will be honored at the General Assembly on May 8 which will be broadcast live on State Wide Interconnect. In addition, Miller’s Roast Beef will be recognized at two other luncheons on May 10th and May 20th.

“We are thrilled to even be nominated but especially to be chosen as the Jeffrey Butland Family Owned Small Business of the Year. We know how important small businesses are to the community and for the economy,” says Gwendolyn Graham, President of Miller’s Roast Beef. “It is our privilege to serve our community every day.”

The Small Business Administration was created in 1953 to provide support to small businesses ultimately to strengthen the economy. During National Small Business Week (May 5-11), SBA highlights outstanding entrepreneurs, small business owners, and others from all 50 states and U.S. territories.

Miller’s Roast Beef is beloved by all in each of the communities in which it resides. Miller’s is now offering franchising opportunities as well to extend this successful small business to other communities and small business owners as well.
