MIXT, the California-based, fast-casual restaurant known for farm fresh salads, grain bowls and plates, is entering the East Bay with two locations opening this spring, one in Uptown Oakland on Saturday, April 6 and the second at San Ramon’s City Center Bishop Ranch on Saturday, April 27.

To celebrate the Grand Opening, the first 250 guests to visit MIXT Oakland on April 6th will receive complimentary totes filled with exclusive items from Oakland favorites including Numi Organic Tea, Drake’s Brewing Co., and more. There will also be tastes from Humphry Slocombe and Firebrand Artisan Breads, as well as balloons for kids. In honor of MIXT Oakland being the 12th restaurant locale, MIXT will donate 12 percentg of all proceeds from the Grand Opening weekend (4.6-4.7) to local non-profit partner City Slicker Farms, whose mission is to strengthen food sovereignty and social inclusion through urban farming, education, and recreation.

The first 250 guests to visit MIXT San Ramon’s Grand Opening on April 27th will receive complimentary totes filled with exclusive items from City Center Bishop Ranch neighbors including Athleta, Equinox, Boba Guys, and more. Planting community roots, MIXT will donate $1 from every salad sold during the Grand Opening weekend (4.27-4.28) to local non-profit partner The Urban Farmers, whose mission is to build a community-based, cost-effective and environmentally sustainable model of hunger relief through harvesting and donating backyard fruit.
