The fresh flavors of Hawai’i, the 50th state, are coming to Draper with the 50th Mo’ Bettahs Hawaiian Style Food restaurant, opening on Friday, Dec. 15.

This history-making location at 163 E. 13800 S, will serve up its signature island-style barbecue menu, with items like the classic Hawaiian plate lunch. Guests can find the new Mo’ Bettahs restaurant in the middle of the Harmons Grocery-Bangerter Crossing shopping center, taking over the previous tenant’s space, Taco Time.

Before the grand opening, Mo’ Bettahs will host a private VIP pre-opening dinner on Thursday, Dec. 14.

On Friday, Dec. 15, the Grand Opening takes place when the doors open at 10:30 a.m., with Mo’ Bettahs founders Kimo and Kalani Mack on hand to greet the Draper community. The first 50 guests in line get free SPAM Musubi for a year! This tasty new snack item starts with sliced spam that’s fried to perfection, then glazed in signature Teri Sauce, paired with rice seasoned with furikake, and wrapped in nori (dried seaweed).

“Bringing fresh-from-the-islands food from the 50th state to our 50th location is so exciting,” says co-founder Kimo Mack. “We’re thrilled to bring the authentic Hawaiian dining experience to Draper, along with a big serving of aloha spirit!”

The hours of operation for the Draper location are Monday to Saturday, 10:30 a.m. to 10 p.m.

At Mo’ Bettahs, guests can immerse themselves in the island culture with authentic Hawaiian-style food, using only the finest ingredients. Guests can enjoy Hawaiian staples like its traditional plate lunch, featuring their choice of Mo’ Bettahs delectable meats – grilled teriyaki chicken or steak, kalua pig, pulehu chicken, katsu chicken or shrimp tempura – paired with the brand’s one-of-a-kind macaroni salad and steamed rice.
