Moby Dick House of Kabob, a regional favorite serving fresh Persian cuisine since 1989, is embracing a new era of leadership and technology aimed at delivering the best experience for its customers.

With two dozen locations in the D.C. Metro area, Virginia, and Maryland — and more on the way — Moby Dick House of Kabob is making it easier than ever for customers to enjoy the delicious and authentic flavors of homemade kabobs, warm pita, basmati rice, baklava and more. Chief Executive Officer Ned Daryoush, son of the late Moby Dick House of Kabob founder Mike Daryoush, and Chief Development Officer Alex Momeni are leading the growing restaurant brand into the next generation.

“We are grateful to our loyal customers and outstanding employees who helped us get through the challenges of 2020,” CEO Ned Daryoush says. “We feel confident that 2021 will be the best year yet for Moby Dick House of Kabob, and we are excited for everyone to see all that we have been doing to make your next Moby visit even better than the last one.”

Moby Dick House of Kabob is currently upgrading its digital operating systems online and throughout its restaurants, leading to improved online ordering and functionality, and a faster, more streamlined in-store experience. In addition to better online ordering through the web, Moby Dick House of Kabob is launching a new mobile app for Apple and Android devices and a refreshed loyalty rewards program. It will now be easy to order from Moby on a mobile phone and to keep track of loyalty points. Also, for the first time, Moby’s faithful catering customers will be able to earn rewards points and redeem them at any Moby location.

“The new systems and technologies that we’ve incorporated into all aspects of Moby Dick House of Kabob will ensure that each and every customer experience is both convenient and memorable,” CDO Alex Momeni says. “Our flavors may be steeped in centuries-old traditions, but our technology has to be current and cutting-edge — and that’s exactly what we’ve done.”

Also on the horizon for 2021 and beyond: nationwide shipping for Moby fans all over the country, and a new retail grocery line called Havas by Moby Dick so fans can stock Moby’s made-from-scratch hummus, creamy and tangy Persian yogurt, and other must-haves. A merchandise shop on mobyskabob.com lets you sport the Moby Dick “whale” and show your kabob love to the world!

“Whether you’ve eaten at Moby Dick House of Kabob a thousand times or you’re a first-time customer, we want to ensure that we exceed your expectations and that you can’t wait to taste our food and experience our hospitality again,” adds Daryoush. “That’s the Moby Dick difference: Food with character, food you crave.”
