    Industry News | January 9, 2020

MOD Super Fast Pizza Holdings, LLC and its franchisees announced that its annual Spreading MODness Week raised $239,619 to help feed children struggling with food insecurity. From November 18-22, 2019, a portion of sales from every pizza purchased was donated to charities fighting childhood hunger - an issue which touches a staggering one in five children nationwide.

The donation will provide support in the following ways:

MOD will fund five high-energy community meal-packing events in partnership with Generosity Feeds, a nonprofit committed to ending childhood hunger in the US. The events bring together hundreds of volunteers who pack tens of thousands of compact and nutritionally dense meals for local school backpack programs and food banks. To date, MOD has hosted over 75 meal packing events and created more than one million meals.

Aid 16 community food banks and feeding programs across the US, each working to end food insecurity in their communities.
