Colorado-based eatery Modmarket rolled out its fall menu. Along with nitrate-, hormone-, and antibiotic-free bacon, sweet corn is a highlight on the new menu.

Modmarket’s fall items include the Bacon Corn Pizza, which contains roasted sweet corn, crème fraiche, bacon, a three-cheese blend, and basil on house-made, whole grain dough. A similar take on spring’s Salmon Club, the Chicken Club includes Modmarket’s signature roasted Red Bird chicken, bacon aioli, White Cheddar, basil, tomato, and peppery arugula on Izzio’s multigrain bread. The new gluten-free Corn Chowder has a southwestern flare with sweet corn, roasted poblano chili, potato, onion, celery, red pepper, cumin, cream, rosemary, and shallots. The Balsamic Roasted Carrots offer both a sweet and tangy flavor. The new Southwest Tofu Scramble is a dish that offers a hearty vegetarian breakfast option and includes organic tofu, roasted sweet corn, black bean salad, pepper jack cheese, tomato sauce, avocado, roasted potatoes, and Izzio’s multigrain toast. Lastly, the new Fruit Salad is a breakfast side with apples, pears, mango, strawberries, and lemon maple vinaigrette.

“Our fall menu items take advantage of the sweet corn we are able to procure this time of year as well as heartier ingredients associated with the fall,” says chef Nate Weir, Modmarket’s director of culinary operations. “With this rollout we are all about adding a little spice, sweet, and tang to shake things up while we ease into the cooler months.”
