Even more residents of Northern Orange and Southern Los Angeles counties will soon have the opportunity to savor the best burger in America. MOOYAH Burgers, Fries & Shakes, renowned for its mouthwatering made-to-order burgers, hand-cut french fries and handspun shakes, announced today that it has signed a franchise agreement to open three new locations throughout Southern California with local entrepreneur and attorney, Andrew Davis.

“My father, who I’m very close with, recently retired and was looking for the next step in his career journey when we discovered MOOYAH,” says Davis, who plans to assist his father in running their locations while continuing to serve as an estate planning and probate attorney. “I’ve never been a huge fast-food fan, but we were blown away by the quality of the burgers – you could really tell that everything from the patties to the buns was fresh. After that, I knew that this was the perfect opportunity for my dad and I to do something together, and the MOOYAH team has been incredibly supportive throughout the entire process.”

Davis will focus his efforts on the backend of the business while his father will manage the day-to-day operations of the restaurants. The father-son duo is actively working with a real estate broker to find a site for their first location, concentrating on the Northern portion of Orange County, the Southern portion of Los Angeles County and Riverside. Outside of their development agreement, MOOYAH currently has eight locations throughout the Golden State, with two additional restaurants slated to open this spring in Fontana and Valencia.

In addition to its fresh menu items made using high-quality ingredients, MOOYAH has mastered the art of burger customization. The brand’s high-quality ingredients, which include Certified Angus Beef that is smashed, seared and seasoned to perfection, fresh cut daily veggies, baked in-house signature buns, hand-cut fries and real ice cream, serve as key differentiators that make MOOYAH the best-tasting burger in the fast-casual restaurant category.

With a fully built-out franchise support team, MOOYAH serves as a great resource for first-time or experienced franchisees as they scale their business. New and seasoned restaurant operators work with dedicated trainers both virtually and on-site at high-volume locations for a hands-on training experience.

“Franchisees are drawn to MOOYAH because of the amazing food and a passion for serving the best-tasting burgers in America,” says Doug Willmarth, President of MOOYAH. “I do not doubt that they will capture the hearts and appetites of their friends and neighbors in Orange County and build on the strong reputation of MOOYAH in the area because of our successful restaurant in Irvine. As always, our support team and proven playbook will be there to guide them every step of the way.”

In addition to this franchise development agreement, the 90-unit brand recently announced the additional markets it is prioritizing for future franchise growth. It is advancing its U.S. growth plans with targets including markets throughout the West Coast, Midwest, Mid-Atlantic, New England, Southeast and Texas.

Ideal franchisee candidates should have the infrastructure to support their chosen markets, including smaller multi-unit franchisees, managing portfolios ranging from 1 to 20 units. At the heart of these franchise journeys lies an unwavering passion to transform the quick service restaurant industry, a commitment MOOYAH wholeheartedly embraces.
