MOOYAH Burgers, Fries, and Shakes announced its expansion into Arkansas and northern Louisiana. The brand, which has 15 open locations, just inked deals with six eager new franchisees in the states.
Scott Strzelecki, a Little Rock franchise development agent, is overseeing the new spots and guiding the new franchise owners through the process. “We have six new franchisees ready to go,” says Strzelecki, who expects up to 20 new locations in Little Rock, Jonesboro, Fayetteville, Russellville, Pine Bluff, and Texarkana, Arkansas; and Monroe, Louisiana.
“MOOYAH is very young and new, and I’m excited to be involved with them. The consumer is very receptive to this type of concept,” Strzelecki says.
“Considering that the company just began franchising in 2007,” says Rich Hicks, MOOYAH cofounder, “the growth of the brand has been phenomenal. Tennessee was our first expansion out of Texas, and Arkansas and Louisiana are big steps toward becoming a national brand.”
The company’s mission is “to deliver the best burger and fry experience ever and have fun doing it,” Hicks says.
