MOOYAH—a 40-plus-unit, fast-casual, “better burger,” fries, and shakes chain—kicks off National Turkey Burger Month by announcing the “Turkeytarian Moo’vement,” a delicious way to introduce the brand’s all-natural Jennie-O turkey burger, which has 200 calories and 10 grams of fat.

To celebrate, Turkeytarian guests who visit participating MOOYAH locations across the country on Tuesday, January 22, 2013, will receive one free Turkey Burger (with any drink purchase).

Fans of MOOYAH’s “Turkeytarian Moo’vement” can also connect with the brand through social media outlets. Guests who “like” the MOOYAH Facebook page can download a coupon for a free Turkey Burger with a purchase of fries and a drink.

Additionally, fans can text “TURKEYTARIAN” to 30364 for the chance to win MOOYAH Turkey Burgers for a year.

“If our guests ask for something, they get it,” says Alexis Barnett Gillette, director of marketing for MOOYAH. “MOOYAH’s guests wanted us to make the Turkey Burger better, so we worked with our partner Jennie-O and did that, plain and simple.

“As the only fast-casual burger concept delivering this unique product in the segment, the ‘Turkeytarian Moo’vement’ is a true celebration of our brand,” Gillette adds. “This innovation comes from guest demand for turkey products, and keeps within the MOOYAH mission to enhance the nutritional components of our menu.”

At MOOYAH, guests can choose from a freshly baked white or whole wheat bun or a hand-leafed lettuce wrap, while also having the option to choose from the never-frozen, 100 percent American beef, Jennie-O turkey, or the veggie burger.

Each burger comes with the choice of unlimited veggies and nine different sauces.

MOOYAH’s french fries come together in a six-step process that takes 24 hours, constant attention, and a little magic to transform fresh spuds into the perfect combination of crisp on the outside and fluffy on the inside fries.

In addition to customizable burgers and fries, MOOYAH offers handmade shakes, where guests can choose from classic flavors like vanilla and chocolate, or opt for some of the restaurant’s new toppings that include cookie dough, Heath, peanut butter cups, and more.

Founded in Dallas in 2007, MOOYAH set out to deliver a simple American favorite not only made well, but also produced in a friendly, service-oriented setting.

Seeing incredible growth in 2012, MOOYAH executives enjoyed extreme expansion that included more than 20 new units. In 2013, the brand is continuing to aggressively pursue new growth markets, including Texas, Oklahoma, Florida, and Virginia.
