This summer, residents of Burleson, Texas will have something new to “moo” about as the town’s first Mooyah moves into McAlister Square. Brothers-in-law Bailey McGuire and Frank Sciuto, will open the location in June, which will be located at 12632 S. Freeway on the Northwest corner of I-35 and McAlister Road.

“Burleson is a wonderful, growing community, and we’re eager to be part of it,” McGuire says. “We’re excited to support the schools and youth sports teams and really get to know the families that make Burleson such a special place.”

Last year, the America’s Promise Alliance (APA) named Burleson one of the “100 Best Communities for Young People.” More than 350 communities in all 50 states were nominated for the honor. The APA is the nation’s largest partnership organization dedicated to youth and children.

Mooyah, while known for its family friendly, fast-casual styling, is best known for its high-quality burgers, fries, and hand-spun milkshakes. Burgers are made from 100 percent fresh, lean American beef that’s never frozen and doesn’t include additives, fillers, or preservatives.

These burgers are served up on a freshly baked bun with special sauces and veggies. For carb counters, the “Iceburger” is a patty wrapped in hand leafed lettuce and the black bean burger and turkey burger are crowd favorites for those looking for an alternative to red meat.

Potatoes are also fresh-cut in house and cooked in trans fat-free oil, eliminating cholesterol. Milkshakes are made of pure, real ice cream and come in vanilla, chocolate, strawberry, or Oreo.

“Mooyah has seen a huge amount of growth in the last year,” says Alan Hixon, Mooyah president. “We are looking forward to serving our great burgers, fries, and shakes to the people of Burleson."
