Evans, a certified public accountant, brings experience in multi-department management, corporate and partnership tax compliance, financial reporting, budgeting, and risk management. In her role, she will manage Raising Cane’s accounting department and oversee all accounting, treasury, payroll, and tax functions for the company. She will be based at the Raising Cane’s Dallas Restaurant Support Office.
Evans previously served as director of taxation and most recently as vice president of finance and interim controller for Rock Bottom Restaurants Inc. Prior to joining Rock Bottom, Evans practiced public accounting as a sole practitioner and worked for Devine & Associates and Seigneur & Company in Denver. “Given Lee’s broad base of experience in restaurant-related accounting and tax matters, she is an exceptional addition to the Raising Cane’s executive team,” says Carey Carrington, CFO of Raising Cane’s.
