Just a year after opening its second outpost, founder and CEO Michelle Gauthier is expanding her popular fast-casual healthy eatery, Mulberry & Vine, with a third location in Midtown East. Like its sister-locations in TriBeCa and NoMad, Mulberry & Vine serves a menu of high quality, organic and locally-sourced food. In addition to lunch and dinner, the Midtown East outpost will also serve breakfast in the coming weeks—a dining option available only at this new location.

The globally-inspired lunch and dinner menu, created by culinary team Justin Schwartz (Co-Founder & Nutrition Director) and Jay Farley (Culinary Director), features seasonally rotating specials like the Beet & Apple Salad with tarragon and pistachio vinaigrette, as well as Mulberry & Vine mainstays including veggie-centric options like Charred Avocado with pumpkin seed-yogurt puree; and Miso Peanut Cauliflower with carrots and mirin. For proteins, options include Mediterranean Braised Chicken with capers and lemon; Moroccan Beef Stew with chickpeas, carrots, lemon, cumin and cinnamon; and Roasted Salmon with herb salad, among others. Served café-style, guests may choose an all-veg plate for $9, or opt for the veg/protein combo plate for $10.50. Bowls are served with organic romaine lettuce or spinach—all-veg bowls are $10, and bowls with veg/protein combo are $11.50. For breakfast, guests can expect an assortment of organic egg wraps, with combinations like Sweet Potato, Broccoli, and Maldon sea salt; Kale, Black Bean, Avocado, Quinoa, and Chipotle; and Salmon, Fresh Herbs, and Capers. A tofu-based vegan option features Sriracha Broccoli, Brown Rice, Black Sesame, and Scallion. Mulberry & Vine will also offer super grain porridges, using a mix of gluten-free grains. The savory option will feature Turmeric, Spinach, Chickpeas, and Coconut; while the sweet porridge will include Dried Fruit, Almonds, and Chia Seeds. Finally, a variety of vegan and gluten-free baked goods and pastries will also be available. New to the beverage program is Blue Majik, a lemonade made with blue-green algae that works as a powerful antioxidant.

NYC-based design firm, DeKar Design, brings a fun and youthful energy to the 30-seat Midtown East outpost. Signature Mulberry & Vine design elements like paint-splattered wallpaper, patterned cement tiling, and hand-painted striped fabric banquettes add a graphic punch against the bright white shiplap walls. Raffia light fixtures, poured cement flooring, and bamboo pendants bring additional texture throughout the space, ultimately creating a layered and lively aesthetic.

To celebrate the grand opening, Mulberry & Vine will be offering $5 “Pick 3” plates and bowls on Wednesday, April 19 and April 20 from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m., and on Friday, April 21 and Saturday, April 22 from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. Mulberry & Vine only accepts card payment.
