Muscle Maker Grill, a chain of casual eateries that serves “great food with your health in mind,” announces plans to add 16 restaurants to its existing locations by the end of the year. This marks two years in a row of 100 percent growth in new unit openings for Muscle Maker Grill. As part of its growth, Muscle Maker Grill is also expanding geographically, as restaurants are scheduled to open in multiple states including California, Florida, Pennsylvania, and New Jersey.
“We are thrilled to report our recent growth and are confident our expansion will continue in 2012,” says Rod Silva, founder of Muscle Maker Grill. “We are fortunate to have found dedicated franchisees who are passionate about Muscle Maker Grill and expanding our brand. They are joining at a perfect time, as consumers are becoming more aware of their diets and looking for nutritious selections. We provide those health-conscious individuals with great tasting food that is also great for them.”
Silva opened the first Muscle Maker Grill in 1995 to offer people a nutritious alternative to fast food. In response to customers’ requests, he decided to turn Muscle Make Grill into a franchise in 2007. In four years, the franchise has grown to 44 locations in four states, with more than 100 restaurants under development. Currently, Muscle Maker Grill is seeking multi-unit operators in New York, Connecticut, Pennsylvania, North Carolina, South Carolina, Florida, California, and Texas.
“We plan to expand across the country, bringing nutritious, quick-service options to people nationwide,” Silva says. “We are looking for motivated individuals to join our team and bring Muscle Maker Grill to their own communities.”
