Muscle Maker Grill, a chain of casual eateries that serves freshly prepared meals with your health in mind, announces a multi-unit franchise deal to develop 10 Muscle Maker Grill restaurants in Oklahoma and Northwest Arkansas.

This new agreement marks the chain’s first franchise deal in both states and is a significant step toward the company’s national expansion plans. The first location, in Tulsa, is expected to open in June, and the company will soon break ground on a restaurant in Bentonville, Arkansas.

“Our new agreement is helping Muscle Maker Grill continue the growth that has made it one of the nation’s fastest-growing restaurant chains,” says Rod Silva, founder of Muscle Maker Grill.

“Everyone at Muscle Maker Grill is excited to bring our healthy selections to Oklahoma and Arkansas. We are happy to welcome our newest area developer, Donald Potvin, and are confident his extensive restaurant background coupled with his passion for the Muscle Maker Grill concept is a recipe for success.” 

Potvin, a 35-year industry veteran, lived in Tulsa for 16 years. He will be working with a group of investors that are eager to help develop the Muscle Maker Grill brand in the area. He was drawn to Muscle Maker Grill by the concept, food taste, and the franchise business model.

“I wanted to bring something truly different to an area that I have called home,” Potvin says. “Muscle Maker Grill really caught my attention because there are no restaurants in the region that offer a completely health-focused menu.

“Typically, people perceive healthy food as bland, but Muscle Maker Grill has created unique, delicious flavor profiles. I was further impressed by their franchise concept that is perfect for both entry-level entrepreneurs and seasoned pros.”

The deal is an integral part of Muscle Maker Grill’s plans to grow the franchise system to 100 locations by the end of the year. Scheduled to open more than 12 restaurants this month, the chain is experiencing growth throughout the country. Muscle Maker Grill has restaurants in California, Florida, New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania, and Texas.

“We plan to continue to expand across the country, bringing nutritious, quick service-options to people nationwide,” Silva says. “We are looking for motivated multi-unit operators to join our team and bring Muscle Maker Grill to their own communities.”
