My Pie Pizza, the fast-casual custom pizza brand renowned for serving New York–style pizzas in a New York minute, announced plans to bring the fast-casual pizzeria to the Reno, Nevada, area.

Legacy Franchise Group brokered the franchise agreement, which signifies continued growth for the custom pizza chain. My Pie began franchising earlier this year, expanding upon its existing locations in Phoenix and Tempe, Arizona, with five locations starting development in Nebraska.

“This agreement represents a significant step in My Pie’s franchise development strategy,” says John Merendino, CEO of My Pie Pizza. “The Reno market presents tremendous opportunity to build excitement around the brand, and we’re eager to see My Pie continue to expand its presence throughout the country.”

My Pie signed the agreement with local entrepreneurs, Gurpreet and Didar Singh. Business veterans with backgrounds in marketing and management, the two were drawn to the business model that My Pie offers. Their business expertise gives them an added appreciation of the skills necessary to serve the growth of My Pie in the Reno area.

“Gurpreet and Didar are the perfect franchisees to grow the My Pie brand in Reno,” says Fred Auzenne, CEO of Legacy Franchise Group. “Their business experience is outstanding, and they truly understand the My Pie concept and business model.”

Founded in 2012 in Phoenix, Arizona, My Pie Pizza offers guests the chance to experience the famous tastes of New York–style pizza in a fast casual, completely customizable dining experience.
