Nékter Juice Bar, leading the way in the authentically healthy juice bar movement at more than 80 restaurants in the United States, has partnered with No Kid Hungry to help end childhood hunger in America. During the month of September, Nékter Juice Bar will donate $1 from each kid’s juice or smoothie sold in participating restaurants in California, Arizona, Nevada, Texas, Utah, and Colorado with the goal of raising at least $5,000.

“The fact that there are so many children in our country today that don’t know where their next meal will come from is absolutely shocking, but with organizations like No Kid Hungry, many of these children have found a guardian angel,” says Alexis Schulze, co-founder and chief visionary officer, Nékter Juice Bar. “Found in the smallest of towns to the largest metropolitan centers, childhood hunger negatively impacts the way our nation’s children live, function, learn, and so much more. We are truly honored to be able to support No Kid Hungry in this way.”

No Kid Hungry’s mission is to connect vulnerable children with effective nutrition programs where they live, learn and play by creating public-private partnerships that work together to identify and break down barriers to meal access, and by teaching low-income families how to stretch their food budgets and cook healthy, affordable meals. Each dollar raised equates to 10 meals for hungry children.
