Nathan’s Famous, Inc. recently entered into an agreement with Zoo Atlanta and Nathan’s Famous products are currently being served at the highly trafficked, year-round Atlanta attraction.
“We can think of no better way to enter the Atlanta market than with Zoo Atlanta,” says Randy Watts, director of franchise operations for Nathan’s Famous. “The zoo has a terrific history and it is extremely popular with Atlanta’s residents and tourists.”
Beginning in July, a menu of Nathan’s hot dogs, Philly cheesesteak sandwiches and potato chips will be made available to the more than 1.2 million guests that visit the zoo each year.
“We are excited to welcome Nathan’s Famous to Zoo Atlanta,” says Gail Eaton, senior vice president of marketing for Zoo Atlanta. “Nathan’s popular products wil make a great compliment to our current food offerings, which include such national brands as McDonald’s and Ben & Jerry’s.”
A 112-year-old non-profit organization Zoo Atlanta is home to nearly 1000 animals. The zoo, which is comprised of more than 40 acres, contains a number of branded and non-branded food outlets. Nathan’s Famous will be available in the Children’s Zoo area of Zoo Atlanta, which features a carousel, train station, and the popular Birthday Party Pavillion.
