Caffè Classico Foods LLC announced Andrew Branagh as CEO. His appointment is the cornerstone of the company’s efforts to restructure operations; refocus on customer care; increase awareness of its Gelato Classico, Sorbetto Classico, and Belizza brands; and take all product lines to the next level.
In 1992 Branagh founded Boston Reed College, a private vocational school that has graduated more than 70,000 health professionals. Branagh then became president and CEO of Mozzarella Fresca Inc., the second-largest producer of fresh soft Italian cheeses in the U.S. In February 2007 Branagh sold the business to Lactalis, a $10 billion dairy company.
Under Branagh’s leadership, Caffe Classico Foods plans to implement streamlined production and distribution processes as well as a complete refresh of the brands, including an expansion of POS materials.
“I am thrilled to once again be in a position to lead a food company that defines the highest possible quality that can be found in the marketplace,” Branagh says.
