Starbucks Coffee Company announced today the launch of its fresh delivery subscription, giving online customers access to its line of super-premium, small-lot coffees roasted at its new, Seattle Reserve Roastery and Tasting Room. Available in monthly increments, Starbucks Reserve Roastery Subscriptions will allow customers access to unique, small-lot coffees only available at the Roastery or through the subscription.
Designed to provide the highest quality coffee immediately after roasting, these fresh delivery subscriptions ensure customers receive their coffee within three to five days of being roasted, depending on location in the U.S.
“Starbucks Reserve Roastery subscriptions are – aside from visiting the Roastery and having our partners scoop the coffee right in front of you – the freshest, fastest and most innovative whole bean coffee experience in the marketplace,” says Howard Schultz, chairman, president and chief executive officer of Starbucks. “The Reserve Roastery and Tasting Room has redefined what customers expect from a brick-and-mortar retail experience. Combining the magic of this unique retail theater with our digital infrastructure brings two of our best assets together and ensures that customers can experience the world’s rarest coffees in the privacy of their own homes or anywhere else they might want the most premium coffee we offer.”
The Starbucks Reserve Roastery and Tasting Room opened in December, 2014 and is dedicated to roasting, coffee education, and increasing availability of the company’s small-lot Reserve coffees. More than two years in development, this experience allows customers to engage with Starbucks’ passion for coffee through moments of education and discovery devoted to beverage innovation and excellence.
In addition to being able to sign up for Starbucks Reserve Roastery Subscriptions, customers can now enjoy Starbucks Reserve Brazil Nova Resende, Starbucks Reserve Sulawesi Pango Pango, and Starbucks Reserve Indonesia West Java Preanger starting today for a limited-time at Starbucks stores offering Reserve coffee nationwide.
Customers will also be able to try Reserve coffee by upgrading their brewed coffee to Reserve from February 21-22, upgrading their handcrafted espresso to a single origin Reserve coffee from February 23-27 in select markets, or by getting a free tall Starbucks Reserve Clover-brewed coffee with their purchase of one whole bean bag of Starbucks Reserve coffee from February 17 through March 30, 2015.
